Sales and Events Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Events Manager to join our team at a unique heritage venue in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and exceeding targets, as well as coordinating and managing events.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively market the venue to generate new business and drive sales
- Respond to client enquiries, agencies, and suppliers in a timely and professional manner
- Focus on confirming multi-day, high-revenue events and developing strategies to increase sales
- Support the Head of Department in creating marketing plans and promoting the venue
- Manage sales and marketing correspondence, including social media, newsletters, and brochures
- Attend tradeshows and networking events to represent the venue
- Coordinate and manage events, including high-end and large-scale events
- Ensure compliance with health and safety and fire regulations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers
- Provide excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in sales and events management, ideally in a unique venue or catering environment
- Knowledge of marketing and sales strategies to drive awareness and increase sales
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
