Job Description

The Job Mission

As an Information Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of complex design and build projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Ensuring the implementation of Information Management (IM) standards and following the BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
  2. Supporting information exchanges within the Common Data Environment (CDE) solution
  3. Ensuring information exchange supports the technical review and verification process
  4. Supporting the technical and project teams in planning and executing key reviews and meetings
  5. Recording minutes and ensuring appropriate distribution to projects and supply chain via the CDE
  6. Supporting the management and delivery of document packages through the due process
  7. Managing comment response matrices received from document reviewers and ensuring comments are actioned
  8. Maintaining and supporting the CDE and key deliverable schedules listed on the Task Information Delivery Plans
  9. Providing document management-related reports and statistics to senior management
  10. Ensuring full auditability of information transactions is traceable within the CDE

Requirements

Essential Skills

Academic qualifications of HNC/HND (or higher) in an engineering subject or equivalent experience

Design & construction experience in a relevant discipline

Experience in highly regulated industries such as Nuclear, Energy, Transportation, and Infrastructure

Substantial knowledge of building infrastructure assets

Proficiency in BIM standards and protocols

Relevant knowledge of data management systems and technical governance

Experience managing a team of Document Controllers and Information Managers

Understanding of the BIM process and using a Common Data Environment (CDE) following ISO 19650

Desired Skills

Experience with BuildingSMART Professional Certification, CDE administration, Revit, Navisworks, Solibri

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude

Ability to work independently and make informed decisions

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
