About the Company

Our client is a leading provider of telecom services, operating globally across 100+ countries. They are looking to migrate onto the cloud and require a FinOps Specialist to work closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient cloud cost management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, engineers, and finance business partners to ensure effective cloud cost optimization.
  • Consistently monitor cloud spend and collaborate with engineers to implement efficient optimization strategies.
  • Develop plans, forecasts, and budgets for cloud consumption.

Requirements

  • Experience with Python, SQL, and Terraform to implement automated cost optimization control policies.
  • Experience building and managing cloud cost analysis and visualizations using tools like Looker, Qlik, MS Excel, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of cloud fundamentals in a FinOps context to manage cloud budget, forecasts, and spend monitoring.
