Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

RedRock Resourcing is seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their IT team in Bristol. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-performance cloud solutions that align with our cloud-first strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code (Bicep, pipelines).
  • Lead cloud implementations and serve as a technical project lead for software-defined services.
  • Collaborate with our network, security, and CISO teams to ensure our security posture remains compliant.
  • Develop and enhance cloud automation tools, ensuring cost management, optimization, and security hardening.
  • Identify and resolve business-critical issues and ensure high system performance and availability.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Azure networking (VNETs, VPNs, Express Route)
  • Expertise in Azure Compute, Storage, and DevOps tools (Terraform, Azure DevOps)
  • Familiarity with cloud security, automation, and optimization tools
