Position Overview

As a key member of the InHealth team, the Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist will be responsible for executing PET-CT imaging procedures with precision and effectiveness, serving both public and private healthcare sectors. This role demands adherence to the highest standards of radiographic practice while ensuring a professional demeanor and compliance with established protocols.

Core Responsibilities

We seek candidates who possess:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities associated with a Radiographer/Technologist in patient care, including interactions with patients, their families, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in safety practices related to imaging technology.
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient confidentiality and care.
  • Knowledge of the Data Protection Act, Caldicott Principles, and GDPR implications.
  • Completion of training in infection control, manual handling, patient transfer, health and safety awareness, and basic life support.
  • Strong computer skills with meticulous attention to detail in data entry.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Genuine interest in enhancing PET-CT skills for self and peers.
  • Willingness to engage in performance appraisal processes.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Flexibility to accommodate required shift patterns.
  • Readiness to travel nationally for training opportunities.
  • Valid driving eligibility in the UK.

Qualifications Required:

  • BSc in Radiography or BSc in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience in PET-CT or Nuclear Medicine settings.
