Position Overview
As a Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist at InHealth, you will be responsible for executing PET-CT imaging operations with precision and professionalism, serving both public and private healthcare sectors. Your role will involve adhering to the highest standards of radiographic practices while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
We seek candidates who possess:
- Comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities associated with the role in patient care, including interactions with patients, their families, and colleagues.
- Strong safety awareness when operating imaging equipment.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient confidentiality and care.
- Knowledge of the Data Protection Act, Caldicott Principles, and GDPR implications.
- Completion of training in infection control, manual handling, patient transfer, health and safety, and basic life support.
- Proficiency in computer skills, with a focus on accurate data entry and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Interest in enhancing personal PET-CT expertise and mentoring others.
- Willingness to engage in performance appraisal processes.
- Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Flexibility to accommodate required shifts.
- Openness to national travel for training opportunities.
- Valid UK driving eligibility.
Qualifications Required:
- BSc in Radiography or BSc in Nuclear Medicine or an equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience in PET-CT or Nuclear Medicine settings.
