Job Description

Little Black Dog Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring our company operates within all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Global Product Compliance: Manage global product labelling and safety data sheets for our consumable products.
  • Regulatory Applications: Support the preparation and submission of regulatory applications for biocidal products, REACh, and other related regulations.
  • Regulatory Authorizations: Administer global biocidal regulatory authorizations and renewals, including applications for exemptions related to REACh.
  • Regulatory Analysis: Review and analyze extensive regulatory texts to extract and identify key information.
  • Internal Guidance: Provide internal guidance on the impact of regulations on both new and existing product technologies.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain a thorough knowledge of global biocidal product regulations, REACh, Detergents Regulation, labelling (CLP), and MSDS requirements.
  • Compliance Activities: Assist with various compliance-related activities.
  • Regulatory Advocacy: Advocate our company's position on relevant regulatory matters.
  • Support to R&D: Provide support to the Head of R&D as needed.
  • Compliance Programs: Ensure our company's adherence to laws and regulations by developing and maintaining effective compliance programs, conducting thorough audits, delivering training, managing regulatory risks, and acting as the primary contact for regulatory authorities.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree-level education or equivalent, preferably in a scientific discipline.
  • Experience: Proven experience in Regulatory Affairs or a similar role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Qualifications: Regulatory certifications or accreditations are advantageous.
