Horizon Search & Selection is currently working with a leading manufacturing company based in Thetford to find a skilled Regulatory Affairs Professional to join their busy R&D/Technical team.

This is a challenging and responsible role that requires a candidate with experience in regulatory affairs and a deep understanding of global biocidal product regulations, REACh, Detergents regulation, labelling (CLP), and MSDS.

The Role

The successful candidate will provide support to the Head of R&D, manage global consumable product labelling and safety data sheet information, and assist with the creation and submission of regulatory applications for biocidal products, REACh, and other associated regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical support to the R&D team on regulatory matters
  2. Manage and maintain global product labelling and safety data sheet information
  3. Assist with the creation and submission of regulatory applications for biocidal products, REACh, and other associated regulations
  4. Administer global biocidal regulatory authorisations and renewals
  5. Read, analyse, and sift through large regulatory texts to identify pertinent information
  6. Provide internal guidance on the impact of regulations on proposed new and existing product technologies
  7. Support the team with compliance-related activities
  8. Advocate the company's position on relevant regulatory topics

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in a scientific subject, preferably in chemistry or a related field. The ideal candidate will have experience in regulatory affairs, a deep understanding of global biocidal product regulations, and excellent communication and analytical skills.

  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively
  4. Knowledge of global biocidal product regulations, REACh, Detergents regulation, labelling (CLP), and MSDS
  5. Excellent MS Office skills
