Key Responsibilities

As a Cardiology Nurse, your primary focus will be to guarantee that our patients receive exceptional care. This role offers a variety of experiences as you will engage in multiple areas of the healthcare facility, including:

  • Cardiology pre-assessment
  • Cardiac catheterization lab
  • Cardiac outpatient services
  • Theatres
  • Supporting wards with cardiac patients

Your duties will include performing clinical procedures that demand precision and skill, such as assisting in a comprehensive range of both basic and intricate interventional cardiology procedures. You will also support non-invasive cardiology services within the Outpatient Department and Surgical Ward, serving as a subject matter expert to fellow staff members. Additionally, you will conduct pre-assessments for catheterization lab patients and strive to establish a regional center of excellence in our service delivery.

Who We Are Looking For

We are in search of an experienced cardiology nurse with expertise in all cardiac domains, including structural work. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Current NMC registration with no restrictions on practice
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab, scrubbing for both routine and complex cardiology procedures
  • ALS certification
  • Confidence and capability to work independently
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A flexible approach to work and varying schedules
  • Previous scrub experience, with experience in EPS Ablation being a distinct advantage
