About the Role:

Crimson is seeking an experienced SAP HR / Payroll Functional Consultant to join our client's team in the West Midlands. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the setup of new payroll systems and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extensive experience in SAP HR/PY, with a strong focus on payroll modules and configuration.
  • Strong expertise in SAP ABAP and Debugging, including areas like configuration, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to ensure payroll processes run smoothly and are optimized for efficiency.
  • Customize and modify the SAP Payroll/HR module to meet specific business requirements.
  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders to gather and evaluate payroll-related requirements.
  • Assist the testing team by developing test plans and conducting unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality.
  • Provide ongoing support to end-users, address payroll-related issues, and resolve any defects in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and user guides for payroll operations.
  • Ensure that payroll processes comply with legal and regulatory standards, particularly in relation to tax calculations, reporting, and statutory deductions.

Requirements:

  • Extensive SAP HR/PY experience.
  • Strong SAP ABAP & Debugging experience.
  • Previous experience with payroll-related requirements and testing.
