Job Description

SAP HR/PY Functional Consultant - Payroll Expert

Crimson Limited is seeking an experienced SAP HR/PY Functional Consultant to join our team and support the setup of new payroll systems as they integrate additional employees after a recent acquisition. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP HR, especially within the Payroll modules, and have strong experience with SAP ABAP and Debugging - including areas like configuration, integration, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extensive SAP HR/PY Experience
  • Strong SAP ABAP & Debugging experience is essential
  • Customise and modify the SAP Payroll/HR module and Configuration updates, to meet specific business requirements, including payroll schemas, wage types, payroll areas, and contract types.
  • Collaborate with other SAP modules (such as SAP FI) to ensure seamless integration and data exchange across systems.
  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders to gather and evaluate payroll-related requirements.
  • Previous Testing UAT/SAP HR PY modules
  • Previous SAP HR/PY Requirement gatherings
  • Assist the testing team by developing test plans, conducting unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality.
  • Provide ongoing support to end-users, address payroll-related issues, and resolve any defects in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and user guides for payroll operations.
  • Ensure that payroll processes comply with legal and regulatory standards, particularly in relation to tax calculations, reporting, and statutory deductions.
