Job Summary:

Crimson is seeking an experienced SAP Payroll Functional Consultant to join our team and support the setup of new payroll systems as they integrate additional employees after a recent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll System Configuration: Customise and modify the SAP Payroll/HR module and Configuration updates, to meet specific business requirements, including payroll schemas, wage types, payroll areas, and contract types.
  • Integration and Collaboration: Collaborate with other SAP modules (such as SAP FI) to ensure seamless integration and data exchange across systems.
  • Payroll Requirements Gathering: Partner with HR and business stakeholders to gather and evaluate payroll-related requirements.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Assist the testing team by developing test plans, conducting unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality.
  • Payroll Support and Documentation: Provide ongoing support to end-users, address payroll-related issues, and resolve any defects in a timely manner. Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and user guides for payroll operations.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure that payroll processes comply with legal and regulatory standards, particularly in relation to tax calculations, reporting, and statutory deductions.

Requirements:

  • Extensive SAP HR/PY Experience
  • Strong expertise in SAP HR, especially within the Payroll modules
  • Ability to work closely with HR and IT teams
