Job Description

Job Title: Family Support Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Support Coordinator to join our team at Think Children. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality family support services to families in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing practical goods and services in the region to support families
  • Applying for grants and benefits to secure additional resources
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with other charities, community providers, and external organizations
  • Providing administrative support to the care team, including managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the complexities of working with children and families

Requirements:

  • Professional experience in an administrative or coordinator role, preferably in a charity environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and develop effective relationships with a wide range of people
  • Well-organized, with a high level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Persuasive and open communicator, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with external organizations and networks
  • Practical knowledge of diversity issues affecting children, young people, and their families
