We are seeking a skilled Community Engagement Officer to join our team at TheWiseSeeker, a leading children's hospice providing care for over 350 children and their families every year.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in taking our Community Giving programme to the next level. As a Community Engagement Officer, you will work closely with our Community Engagement Manager and Senior Head of Supporter Engagement to develop and implement strategies that engage our local community and raise vital funds for our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality stewardship to a variety of audiences.
  • Develop and implement creative engagement strategies to increase our visibility in the community and raise funds for our services.
  • Work closely with our Community Engagement Manager to develop and deliver community-based events and campaigns.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to our community groups and stakeholders.
  • Manage a portfolio of community groups and develop relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Community Officer or in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of fundraising and event management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full driver's license.
