Deputy Care Home Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to join our team at TRCGroup. As a Deputy Care Home Manager, you will play a vital role in assisting the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the provision of high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Managing Operations: You will work closely with the Home Manager to oversee the smooth running of the care home, ensuring that all aspects of care are delivered to the highest standard.
- Oversee Care Staff: You will be responsible for supervising and training care staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care to our residents.
- Assume Full Management: In the absence of the Home Manager, you will be expected to take full responsibility for the care home, making decisions and taking action as necessary.
- Pre-Admission Assessments: You will work with the Home Manager to conduct pre-admission assessments of residents, ensuring that their care needs are met and that they receive the best possible care.
- Care Planning: You will assist in the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that they are tailored to the individual needs of each resident.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience: You will have previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager or in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.
- Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with residents, families, and external care professionals.
- CQC Standards: You will have a good working knowledge of CQC standards and be able to ensure that the care home meets these standards.
- Teamwork: You will be able to work effectively as part of a team, building and maintaining excellent relationships with colleagues and external partners.
