RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Performance Controller to join our dynamic team in the UK & Ireland.

As a key member of our Finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth ambitions of our Onshore, Solar, and Storage projects during their development and construction phases. You will be responsible for setting up, interpreting, and analyzing financial and operational KPIs, providing insightful reports to management, and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts, including variance analyses and compelling storylines for stakeholders.
  • Provide regular reporting on operational business performance and conduct ad-hoc analyses to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Act as a trusted financial advisor to the business, providing strategic insights and recommendations to support growth objectives.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams across Renewables and the wider RWE group, including operational teams, accounting, tax, legal, and finance.
  • Continuously improve planning and controlling tools, focusing on automation and digitalization to enhance efficiency.
  • Implement and refine processes that ensure a seamless and efficient workflow for all stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A strong academic background in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Proven experience in a controlling, subsidiary management, or finance role within the energy sector is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of European energy market regulations and trends, particularly in the UK & Ireland.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present it clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and intercultural skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • A highly reliable and flexible team player with a strong commitment to delivering results.
  • Proficiency in SAP (FI/CO/BI) and MS Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with IFRS; UK and Irish GAAP is a plus.
  • Fluent English language skills.
