Deals Advisory and Consulting Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transaction Advisory Services Manager to join our team at Grant Thornton. As a key member of our Deals Advisory and Consulting service line, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality advisory services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients and provide expert advice on sale and purchase agreements, mergers and acquisitions, and other transaction-related matters.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with transactions, and provide strategic advice to clients on completion mechanisms, enterprise value, and financial aspects of sale and purchase agreements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective solutions for clients, and provide high-quality financial analysis and fee estimates.
- Participate in the presentation of conclusions and recommendations to clients, and discuss implications and action points.
- Monitor and manage assignment costs versus budgets, and challenge team member time charged to other departments.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the firm's products, services, and capabilities, and actively cross-sell to clients.
Requirements
- Professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA, or CIPFA) with post-qualification experience.
- Confidence in managing a large portfolio of clients and providing expert advice on transaction-related matters.
- Experience with EV to equity value bridges, advising on financial and accounting aspects of sales and purchase agreements, and preparing or reviewing completion accounts and earn-out accounts.
