Tax Advisory Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our Scotland Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance team in Edinburgh, Glasgow, or Aberdeen.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity will involve working closely with our Managers and Senior Manager to deliver UK corporation tax compliance services, tax advisory projects, and client account management. You will be responsible for:
- Providing expert tax advice to clients on day-to-day tax matters
- Supporting the delivery of tax reporting and tax audit work
- Supervising junior members of staff and providing coaching to support their development
- Assisting with business development opportunities
The role will involve a mixture of tax compliance, reporting, and advisory work, with flexibility around the weighting of time to these different components based on your experience and areas of interest.
About YouWe are looking for a qualified CTA or ACA/CA or equivalent with UK corporation tax experience. You will have excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work in a cooperative and respectful manner with colleagues, clients, and the wider community.
You will be a continuous learner, seeking out feedback and development opportunities to improve your skills and knowledge. You will also have the ability to coach less experienced staff and provide clear directions and constructive feedback.
