Job Title: Technical Team Leader - Creative and Immersive Technologies

We are seeking an experienced and confident Technical Team Leader to join our team at the University of Salford. As a key member of our creative and immersive technologies team, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of technical staff who support programs of study in digital design, web development, games, immersive interfaces, extended reality (XR), and motion capture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop a team of technical staff to support teaching and learning activities in creative and immersive technologies.
  • Advise on creative processes in digital immersive and interactive technologies, including post-production, VR/XR development, and motion capture.
  • Manage and deliver high levels of health and safety compliance within facilities and processes.
  • Contribute to the university's thinking on equity disparities, diversity, and inclusion.
