Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy top-notch data analytics solutions and services.
  • Provide technical leadership by staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends, helping the team develop innovative and effective solutions.
  • Own the technical solutions and mentor team members.
  • Understand and translate user requirements into technical specifications.
  • Design and implement data solutions, write and test code, debug and fix software defects, maintain and update software.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, trainers, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Azure Data Services experience.
  • Proven Databricks experience.
  • Azure DevOps Pipelines.
  • SQL Server / TSQL.
  • Microsoft BI skills to include: SSIS, SSRS.
  • Data Modelling skills.
  • Data Warehouse and Report Layer design.
  • SQL/database querying skills.
  • Synapse experience would be beneficial but not necessary.
  • Strong commercial experience in data engineering with a proven track record of developing data solutions at the enterprise level.
  • Previous experience in a Senior / Lead Data role and comfortable with autonomy.
