About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to join our team at The Openwork Partnership. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our cyber security strategy to achieve our broader technology and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver architectural standards, reference architectures, and designs to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends, technologies, and best practices to inform our technology strategy and ensure we remain ahead of the curve.
- Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to ensure cyber security adoption maximizes our business proposition while minimizing operational costs and risk.
- Manage adoption and supporting policies, processes, operating models, and cultural changes across the organization.
- Build strong relationships with technology and business stakeholders to communicate effectively to technical and senior non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Strong background in cyber security with expert knowledge of application architectures, data security, data loss prevention, hybrid-cloud computing solutions, and associated pros/cons.
- Expert knowledge of designing, building, and deploying secure-by-design solutions, coding standards, application security testing, penetration testing, and threat modeling tools.
- Understanding of and experience in securely implementing and consuming services from Microsoft platforms, including Azure, Office 365, Entra ID, Dynamics, Power Platform, etc.
- Able to work effectively with other architecture members, broader technology and business teams, and delegate responsibilities.
- Able to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and senior non-technical audiences.
