About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to join our team at The Openwork Partnership. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our cyber security strategy to achieve our broader technology and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver architectural standards, reference architectures, and designs to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends, technologies, and best practices to inform our technology strategy and ensure we remain ahead of the curve.
  • Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to ensure cyber security is embedded into all aspects of our business, from product development to change management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure we have access to the latest security solutions and technologies.
  • Provide thought leadership and expertise on cyber security matters, including threat modelling, penetration testing, and security assurance.

Requirements

  • Strong background in cyber security, with expertise in application architectures, data security, and hybrid-cloud computing solutions.
  • Experience in designing, building, and deploying secure-by-design solutions, including coding standards, application security testing, and penetration testing.
  • Expert knowledge of security protocols, authentication, authorisation, and identity & access management.
  • Understanding of and experience in securely implementing and consuming services from Microsoft platforms, including Azure, Office 365, and Dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
