Rail Systems Engineering Technician Trainee at Ramboll

Ramboll presents a remarkable opportunity to become part of their Rail Systems Division as a Rail Systems Engineering Technician Trainee. In this position, you will support the team in providing Rail Systems design solutions across diverse projects. This training program is designed to fully support you in attaining a Level 4 qualification in Rail Engineering, establishing a robust foundation for a thriving career.

Program Overview

  • Duration: 4 years
  • Funding: Sponsored by Ramboll through the Apprenticeship Levy
  • Qualifications: Level 4 Rail Engineering Apprenticeship, eligibility for Engineering Technician registration

Career Advancement

Upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship, there are potential pathways for career growth within Rail Systems or further educational opportunities through additional apprenticeships.

Training Structure

The Apprenticeship entails working 4 days a week in a practical role while dedicating 1 day a week to studies with The Educationwise Academy. The training comprises a blend of lectures, hands-on sessions, and online learning activities, equipping you for the End Point Assessment.

Candidate Requirements

  • 3 A Levels or equivalent with mathematics at grade C or higher
  • 5 GCSEs including Mathematics and English at Grade 4 (C) or higher
  • Genuine interest in the Built Environment
  • Excellent communication and technological skills
