Job Description

Job Title: Lead Trainer - Maritime Solutions

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Trainer to join our team at Systems Engineering and Assessment Limited (SEA). As a Lead Trainer, you will be responsible for managing a team of instructors and delivering training to our customers in the UK and abroad.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of internal instructors and deliver training to customers in the UK and abroad
  • Develop and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our customers
  • Collaborate with Training Designers and Courseware developers to create engaging lessons
  • Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, venue selection, and resource allocation
  • Utilize various training methodologies and techniques to accommodate different learning styles, media, and skill levels
  • Deliver training sessions in person and virtually
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and gather feedback
  • Stay current with training trends and best practices

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Trainer with a track record of delivering successful training programs
  • Recognized training qualification, civilian or military, and/or technical training
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of trainers
  • Ability to work both individually and within a team environment
  • Proficient in various training methodologies and techniques, including face-to-face, e-learning platforms, blended learning, and virtual training tools
  • Familiarity with the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) processes
