About the Role

Galderma is a leading dermatology company seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders in the field of dermatology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scientific Engagement: Develop and maintain a scientific engagement plan with key opinion leaders to provide comprehensive medical and scientific education to external stakeholders.
  • Network Development: Establish and maintain a network of key opinion leaders in the field of dermatology and maintain ongoing professional relationships to gather insights that provide medical and scientific support for Galderma's medicines and areas of interest.
  • Technical Support: Provide scientific and technical support for the field-based sales force, serving as a credible partner to support their immediate needs through non-promotional trainings, education, presentations, and other engagement.
  • Presentation Delivery: Deliver credible scientific and medical presentations to key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Asset Development: Produce, review, and update scientific internally approved presentations and assets for assigned therapeutic areas.
  • Enquiry Support: Provide field-based support to assist Medical Information in dealing with enquiries.
  • Research Support: Maintain knowledge and awareness of clinical research and publications in the field of dermatology and support Galderma research by identifying investigators, undertaking scientific exchange, and providing feedback and insight to medical and clinical teams.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Medical, Pharmacy, or higher degree qualification (e.g., MSc, PhD) in a relevant life sciences field.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in dermatology and/or biologics, with previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred, particularly in a customer-facing role.
  • Skills: Demonstrable experience of developing and presenting scientific/medical content at a variety of levels, including to key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals; excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to work in a team-oriented (matrix) environment and partner with different stakeholders.
