HGV Class 1 Drivers

to join our esteemed client's distribution operations.


The role primarily involves general haulage tasks, with potential responsibilities in trunking and delivery operations.

All activities must be conducted safely and efficiently. In trunking scenarios, this may include the exchange or live loading/unloading of trailers across the UK.

Compensation:
£18.15 per hour

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday

Night Shifts: 10pm - 6am

Day Shifts: 48 hours per week with a 45-minute break (Start times vary based on client needs)

Key Responsibilities of the HGV Class 1 Driver:
- Ensure the safe transport and delivery of goods to designated locations.
- Verify that delivered items correspond with the accompanying delivery documentation.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service throughout the delivery process.
- Adhere to all company protocols and ensure accurate completion of paperwork for each shift.


- Comply with Health & Safety regulations to promote a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.


Essential Qualifications:
- Possess a valid C License
- Hold a current Tacho and CPC card
- Have no more than 6 penalty points (excluding DDs, DRs, TTs, or INs)
- Minimum of 6 months of commercial driving experience
- At least 2 years of driving experience required
