Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring loads are securely fastened. You will also be required to follow traffic reports, adapt routes as necessary, and perform basic routine maintenance on our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Load and unload goods with precision and care
  • Ensure loads are safely secured and comply with regulations
  • Follow traffic reports and adapt routes as necessary
  • Perform basic routine maintenance on vehicles
  • Complete delivery paperwork, PDA, and walk-around checks

Requirements
  • A valid HGV license
  • Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations
  • Ability to operate HGVs safely and efficiently
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Familiarity with GPS systems and other tracking devices
