Key Responsibilities
- Engage in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing and optimizing the infrastructure landscape. The capability to work independently or collaboratively is essential for successful delivery.
- Lead project initiatives, ensuring timely completion while closely coordinating with project managers and various teams.
- Develop and maintain documentation as necessary.
- Address third-level support challenges and incidents, taking charge of critical issues impacting the organization and its infrastructure. Own the resolution process from initiation to completion.
- Mentor and develop skills within the team.
- Exhibit a proactive mindset, adapting to evolving requirements in an agile environment.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for key technologies.
- Collaborate with other departments, providing support as needed and fostering interdepartmental relationships.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and provide early cover as required.
- Work with technologies including Azure, VMWare, Veeam, Zerto, Beyond Trust, Nimble, StoreOnce Storage, Microsoft core stack, Citrix, and netscalers.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in Infrastructure and IT.
- Be a collaborative team member.
- Propose and contribute to improvements in existing processes and tasks, leveraging current technology to promote a culture of continuous enhancement.
- Provide insights into design and project initiatives, driving advancements within the team and the organization.
- Possess strong Azure Infrastructure experience to assist in the transition to cloud solutions.
- Operate in a dynamic global environment, supporting infrastructure across primary data centers, satellite locations, and cloud platforms.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our infrastructure operations team. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within the immediate infrastructure team and the broader Global Technology Services team. The ability to manage and resolve significant incidents and issues is crucial, along with sharing knowledge and expertise across the team.
