About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our Private Client team in Cambridge. As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality legal advice to mid and high-net-worth clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estate Planning: Provide bespoke estate planning advice to mid-to-high-net-worth clients, including guidance on trusts, taxation, and lifetime planning.
  • Will and Lasting Powers of Attorney: Draft complex Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, ensuring that clients' wishes are accurately reflected.
  • Estate Administration: Manage the administration of taxable and non-taxable estates, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Trust Documentation: Draft Trust documentation and advise executors and trustees on taxation, compliance, and duties.
  • Business Succession Planning: Offer business succession planning to sole traders, partners, and shareholders, ensuring that their business interests are protected.
  • Complex Matters: Provide support on complex matters, particularly in trusts, taxation, and estate planning.
  • Networking: Attend networking events to grow our reputation and establish professional connections.
About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • 8+ years PQE in Private Client Law.
  • Strong experience preparing self-assessment tax returns.
  • SFE and/or STEP membership (desirable).
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage time effectively.
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team while staying calm under pressure.
