About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate School Cook to join our team at Mapesbury School, part of Kedleston Group Limited. As a School Cook, you will be responsible for leading our school kitchen team and developing a food-led curriculum to educate our children about healthy eating and nutrition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the school kitchen team to provide fresh, tasty, and nutritious meals for our children, staff, and the local community.
- Develop and implement a food-led curriculum to educate children about healthy eating and nutrition.
- Train and upskill kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Work effectively to a budget to ensure efficient food production and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with the school community to promote healthy eating habits and food education.
