EMEA Asset Servicing COO Oversight Manager

The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled EMEA Asset Servicing COO Oversight Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the effective governance, oversight, and adherence to frameworks for EMEA Asset Servicing COO, with a specific focus on the requirements of the UK Senior Management Regime (SMR).
Key Responsibilities- Proactively support the EMEA Asset Servicing COO SMF 24 in the execution of oversight responsibilities for Custody Operations in the region, with a particular focus on Risk & Operational Resiliency.
- Oversee the activities of Asset Servicing COO, providing services for UK legal entities, including the oversight of four Important Business Services – Trade, Payments, Corporate Actions, and Proxy Voting.
- Ensure the ongoing effectiveness of CHAPS UK Cash direct clearing obligations.
- Contribute to Asset Servicing and EMEA leadership forums and act as a delegate for the UK SMF 24 as required.
- Partner and collaborate with 1st Line of Defence and 2nd Line of Defence areas to ensure adherence to operational, regulatory, and corporate guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Extensive risk, regulatory, technical, business, and/or industry knowledge.
- Proven success in building and implementing control frameworks.
- Exceptional data visualization skills.
- Excellent critical and creative thinking, decision-making, and innovative problem-solving skills.
