Job Title: Compliance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Engineer to join our team at Torque Consulting. As a key member of our robotics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our engineering, product development, and customer support processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Task Management: Plan, schedule, and manage technical tasks to ensure accuracy and quality, collaborating with the Technical Manager to optimize resource allocation.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Create and maintain high-quality technical documents, comprehensive risk assessments, and evidence of compliance with technical files, risk assessments, and certifications.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Research and identify applicable regulatory and industry compliance standards, ensuring safety regulation compliance.
  • Quality Management: Manage and develop Quality and Environmental Management Systems, assessing compliance with standards through analysis and testing programs.
  • Documentation and Communication: Prepare Operational and Maintenance Manuals, proofread and edit documentation for accuracy and consistency, and promote sustainable and safe practices within project activities.

Requirements:

  • Education: C&G or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of machinery systems, including hardware and software components, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Personal Qualities: Energetic, positive, self-motivated, and creative with a solution-focused mindset, valid driving license and willingness to travel when required.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of 3D printing processes.
