About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Health and Safety Manager to join our team at CHEP. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees across our UK operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction on health and safety matters across our UK operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate health and safety risks across our operations, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety laws, regulations, and internal policies, including the development and implementation of effective health and safety management systems.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the health and safety knowledge and skills of employees across our operations.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting: Lead and facilitate root cause investigations into incidents and near misses, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Employee Engagement and Communication: Foster a culture of health and safety awareness and engagement across our operations, ensuring that all employees understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe working environment.
