We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Daventry, UK. As a Placement Student, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Health, Safety, and Environment, working with a global organization that values diversity and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze Health, Safety, and Environmental data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Support the development of HSE procedures and maintain ISO14001, 45001, and 50001 Management Systems.
- Conduct ergonomics projects to improve manual handling processes using lifting equipment.
- Produce HSE communications to raise awareness of issues.
- Monitor compliance with legal requirements and Cummins corporate HSE requirements.
- Report KPI data and ISO management system standard requirements.
Requirements:
- Working towards a degree in Business Management or Health, Safety, and Environmental related field.
- Ability to understand data, solve problems, and think innovatively.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage workload effectively and work well as part of a team.
