The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Technician to become part of our regional engineering team, providing maintenance support across various sites. You will collaborate with a team of engineers, servicing Ready-mix & Asphalt facilities, along with two Quarries in the Central Belt region.

With guidance from seasoned engineers, you will enhance your existing skills and gain expertise in our industrial setting. Expect a diverse range of environments, projects, and challenges, allowing you to build your knowledge over an initial six-month period alongside an experienced engineer.

This position operates Monday to Friday during the day, addressing breakdowns and scheduled maintenance throughout the Central Belt region. Your base of operations will be determined by your location.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial setting, with a desire to develop welding and fabrication skills to complement your fitting expertise.

Safety is integral to our culture; therefore, familiarity with Risk Assessments and Method Statements is preferred.

As this role involves multiple sites, a Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
