The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Technician to become part of our regional engineering team, providing maintenance support across various sites in the vicinity. You will be integrated into our team of engineers, servicing Ready-mix & Asphalt facilities along with two Quarries in the Central Belt region.

With guidance from seasoned engineers, you will enhance your current skills and evolve into a specialist within our industrial landscape. Expect a diverse range of environments, projects, and challenges to tackle. Initially, you will spend your first six months alongside another engineer, gaining invaluable insights into this sector.

Your working hours will be Monday to Friday during the day, addressing both emergency breakdowns and scheduled maintenance across the Central Belt region. Our operational base is situated in the area, and you will need to be able to commute to this location.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial setting and be eager to enhance their skills, particularly in welding and fabrication techniques, to complement their existing fitting expertise.

Safety is a cornerstone of our culture; therefore, familiarity with Risk Assessments and Method Statements is preferred.

As this role involves multiple sites, a Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
