Senior Engineer - Integrated Control & Safety Systems

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team at ABB, where you will play a key role in delivering high-level ICSS & Application Engineering deliverables on various national & international Oil & Gas projects. As a Senior Engineer, you will work closely with the Project Manager, Lead Engineer, and Project Engineering Manager to identify key resources during the project life cycle. Your responsibilities will include training and mentoring new team members in ABB project procedures and standards, ensuring common solutions and practices are carried out across the project. You will also perform overall quality control of your own work, including budget, schedule, plans, and deliverables, and report regularly on the project status. Additionally, you will review engineering deliverables in accordance with process and initiate appropriate corrective actions. You will also monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications. Furthermore, you will assist with technical sales presentations and bid clarifications for new project work to prospective customers, and assist with and produce engineering estimates against client specifications for bids containing integrated control & safety systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Excellent knowledge of all relevant ICSS industry performance standards and specifications, as well as applicable package specific performance standards and specifications.
  • Significant experience in the design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of ICSS applications, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
  • Good working knowledge of Networks, IT/OT Systems, and Cyber Security requirements.
  • Hands-on experience working on projects executing ABB INFI and S+ solutions.
