Senior Engineer - Integrated Control & Safety Systems

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team in the Oil and Gas industry. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for executing high-level ICSS and Application Engineering deliverables on various national and international projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager, Lead Engineer, and Project Engineering Manager to identify key resources during the project life cycle. Your expertise will be essential in training and mentoring new team members in ABB project procedures and standards. You will also perform quality control on your own work and report regularly on project status. Additionally, you will review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions as needed. Your technical expertise will be valuable in assisting with technical sales presentations and bid clarifications for new project work. You will also assist with producing engineering estimates against client specifications for bids containing integrated control and safety systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute high-level ICSS and Application Engineering deliverables on various national and international projects.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager, Lead Engineer, and Project Engineering Manager to identify key resources during the project life cycle.
  • Train and mentor new team members in ABB project procedures and standards.
  • Perform quality control on your own work and report regularly on project status.
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Assist with technical sales presentations and bid clarifications for new project work.
  • Assist with producing engineering estimates against client specifications for bids containing integrated control and safety systems.


Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of all relevant ICSS industry performance standards and specifications.
  • Significant experience in the design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of ICSS applications preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
  • Good working knowledge of Networks, IT/OT Systems, and Cyber Security requirements.
  • Hands-on experience working on projects executing ABB INFI and S+ solutions.
