Job Title: Future Engineering Sub-systems Designer

Location: Warton

Salary: £45,326+ depending on skills and experience

Job Summary:

As a Future Engineering Sub-systems Designer, you will be responsible for analysing system requirements and transposing them into system designs. You will create and review documentation for the wider FESS team and customers, configure supplier-provided software, and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of system requirements and design development
  • Documentation creation and review
  • Software configuration and testing
  • Technical guidance and coaching
  • Maintenance of current tools and processes

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Strong engineering background
  • Experience of system and software application design and architecture principles
  • Understanding of modelling techniques and tools
  • Experience of requirements analysis and management tools
  • Experience of configuration and version control tools
  • Windows operating systems environments and database technologies

Desirable:

  • Experience with database technologies
  • Software application builds and deployment
  • Complex problem-solving and communication skills
