Job Description

**Finance Director - Fixed Term Contract**

We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Director to join our client, a rapidly growing company in the services sector, on a 4-6 month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for managing all aspects of financial management, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee the preparation of the company's monthly management accounts to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare Group consolidation and reporting on a monthly basis for the HQ Finance Team.
  • Prepare annual statutory financial statements and Corporation Tax filings.
  • Manage and address accounting audit, internal audit, and tax audit issues as they arise.
  • Model and monitor cash flow to understand its impact and advise management.
  • Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies, and procedures for effective and efficient financial management.
  • Direct and control finance team members to ensure they are motivated and developed, and that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standard.
  • Contribute to the achievement of the company's business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy.

**Requirements:**

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar senior finance role, preferably in a growing and acquisitive company.
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong experience using ERP systems and making systems improvements (e.g. Sage).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Project lead experience.
  • Proven track record of driving positive change and transformation.
