We are seeking an experienced Senior Cladding Estimator to join our client's expanding team for their Structural Steelwork Fabrication business.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience estimating within the Structural Steel industry and be familiar with working on large scale, multi-storey projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and produce tenders for Structural Steel and Cladding construction projects in an accurate, detailed and timely manner to secure profitable work orders.
- Work both individually and as part of a team; collaborating with estimating management, production management, site management, and company directors.
- Carry out material take offs, estimating all required labour, materials, and equipment costs (including MEWPs and Crane costs).
- Liaise internally and externally as required, to ensure accurate pricing.
- A degree in Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum of 5 years estimating experience in the Structural Steel industry.
- High level of familiarity with the UK Steel industry.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, communication, and organisational skills, with strong commercial acumen and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
- Live near/within commutable distance of the office – this is an office-based role.
- A very good salary/package is on offer for the successful applicant and is negotiable depending on experience.
