About the Role:

To excel in this position, you will need to:

  • Support service users throughout their treatment and recovery journey.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop integrated care plans.
  • Provide post-treatment support, including transfer of care.
  • Identify and respond effectively to potential safeguarding issues.
  • Focus on reducing drug and alcohol-related harm among young people in supported accommodation.
  • Develop therapeutic relationships and deliver a personalized package of care.
  • Engage in 1-to-1 key working and group work across supported accommodation sites.
  • Implement harm minimization and brief interventions.
  • Contribute to whole-family interventions.
  • Collaborate with the service's Safeguarding Lead to ensure swift and effective resolution of issues and concerns.
  • Establish relationships with emotional well-being and mental health providers to enhance pathways in and out of service.
  • Provide advocacy for young people by actively participating in relevant multiagency meetings.

About You:

  • Experience engaging with young people individually and in groups.
  • Understanding of modern youth issues and safeguarding concerns.
  • Knowledge of drug/alcohol issues and strong partner relationship skills.
  • Excellent time management, initiative, and collaboration abilities.
