Electrical Construction Manager / Project Lead
A leading specialist M&E subcontracting company, People Group Limited, is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager / Project Lead to oversee the electrical installation of a 500M Energy for Waste plant in the West Midlands.
The successful candidate will have a background in complex construction projects, such as data centres, labs, and power stations, and will be responsible for managing a team of up to 100 operatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading large-scale industrial projects from pre-construction to completion
- Managing a team of electrical engineers and technicians
- Setting daily installation targets and monitoring progress
- Reviewing technical drawings and identifying best installation methods
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry standards
- Coordinating with other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
Requirements:
- Proven experience in electrical construction and project management
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and installation methods
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- SMSTS certification or equivalent
