Job Summary:
Dana Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineering Leader to join our team as the SW Chief Engineer for Electrified Powertrain Control Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the complete software delivery process, working closely with internal teams and customers to ensure the successful integration of software features and functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Function as the main technical contact for software delivery and ensure seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and execute software release plans, driving day-to-day development and issue resolutions.
- Work closely with customers to understand their software requirements and ensure successful integration.
- Lead the development of controls strategies and feature development for Electrified Powertrain Control Systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with software development processes and standards.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Engineering in a relevant field, such as Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- At least 10 years of experience in Automotive Motor Controls Development, with a strong background in software engineering.
- Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow and AUTOSAR, with experience in software development tools and processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of vehicle powertrain control systems and experience in releasing production software.
- Understanding of Functional Safety and Cybersecurity standards, with experience in product development standards.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and agile development practices.
