Volunteer Administrator Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and organized individual to join our team as a Volunteer Administrator. As a key member of our Volunteer Services team, you will provide administrative support to the volunteer hub, ensuring the smooth operation of all aspects of the volunteer life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the volunteer hub, including recruitment and onboarding administration, database management, and training coordination.
  • Assist in project work, including strategic recruitment, inclusion and belonging, induction, reward, succession planning, engagement, and recognition.
  • Monitor and deal with queries received into generic Voluntary Services inboxes, using professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and awareness of possible need for escalation.
  • Support the Volunteer Services team in overall administration tasks.

Requirements:

  • CIPD level 3 or diploma qualification or equivalent level of demonstrable experience in Volunteer Management and/or People functions.
  • An understanding of Equal Opportunities and valuing Diversity.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience of using computerized and web-based HR information systems, e.g., DBS, HRIS, Learning Management Systems.
