Volunteer Administrator Job Description

C2 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Volunteer Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Volunteer Services team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our volunteer programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Volunteer Services team, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for volunteers, including advertising, interviewing, and orienting new volunteers.
  • Conduct safer recruitment checks and assess when escalation is required to resolve issues or discrepancies.
  • Monitor and respond to queries received into generic Voluntary Services inboxes, using professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and awareness of possible need for escalation.

Requirements:

  • CIPD level 3 or diploma qualification or equivalent level of demonstrable experience in Volunteer Management and/or People functions.
  • An understanding of Equal Opportunities and valuing Diversity.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a people-oriented function and recruitment, delivering high volume end-to-end recruitment campaigns and supporting managers to develop and implement plans.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience of using computerised and web-based HR information systems.
