Role:

The role of the Business Systems Analyst is to support, maintain and enhance the business applications to best fit the business needs. The Business Systems Analyst reports to the Head of IT Development and works collaboratively with two further Business Systems Analysts and two Application Support Analysts to:

  • Support all business functions to ensure ERP / CRM applications are configured for efficient use.
  • Gathering and documenting business requirements, analysing and delivering system improvement via application configuration or software development.
  • Identifying and documenting development requirements and working with vendors to deliver.
  • Evaluation, testing and deployment of regular application updates.
  • Production of end user documentation and delivery of training.
  • On boarding of acquired businesses to Rubix ERP systems
  • Evaluation and implementation of new applications.
  • Report, interface, and dashboard design within the K8 ERP system

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the configuration and maintenance of ERP / CRM applications to ensure efficient use.
  • Gathering and documenting business requirements to inform system improvement.
  • Working with vendors to deliver development requirements.
  • Evaluating, testing and deploying regular application updates.
  • Producing end user documentation and delivering training.
  • On boarding acquired businesses to ERP systems.
  • Evaluating and implementing new applications.
  • Designing reports, interfaces and dashboards within the K8 ERP system.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A track record of ERP system advanced support, maintenance and development.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and issue resolution at any one time.
  • Proven requirement gathering and analysis skills.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Experience within a distribution-based industry.
  • A clear understanding of finance functions.

Desirable Skills:

The following skills would be advantageous:

  • Experience working with K8 ERP system.
  • Finance or operations experience.
  • Business Analysis qualification (ISEB).
