Role Overview

The ERP Consultant will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing support of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. This role involves customizing and configuring workflows to facilitate system integration, as well as testing ERP functionalities to ensure alignment with the client's business and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assess ERP business systems requirements through client interviews, process analysis, and specification preparation.
  2. Implement and support Microsoft Dynamics D365BC for both new and existing clients, covering design, configuration, testing, data migration, user acceptance testing, and go-live assistance.
  3. Collect information for the development of tailored applications that complement or integrate with current software solutions.
  4. Adhere to Calsoft's Project Charter and implementation framework, ensuring all project documentation is thorough and complete.
  5. Promote additional ERP consulting services within the existing customer base.
  6. Participate in presales activities, including product demonstrations and proposal development.
  7. Utilize experience and judgment to effectively plan and achieve objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree.
  2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in ERP or related software.
  3. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
  4. Maintain a professional demeanor in behavior, appearance, and communication.
  5. Exceptional customer service abilities.
  6. Demonstrated capacity for learning new technologies.
  7. Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  10. Must reside in the UK and be willing to travel as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Understanding of processes in manufacturing, distribution, or service industries.
  2. Capability to develop and implement innovative solutions as needed.
  3. Contribute to and influence procedural decisions within the division.
  4. Assist management with organizational planning.
  5. Proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
