About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Trainer to join our team at St John Ambulance. As a Casual Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering and assessing a variety of First Aid and Health & Safety training courses to our workplace and community training customers.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Assessing and Training Qualification (e.g. CiLD) and experience in training First Aid. However, we are also interested in hearing from NEBOSH qualified individuals who can deliver safety courses on a casual basis.

Our courses are designed to be interactive, enjoyable, and practical, with a focus on giving delegates the skills and confidence to make a difference when the time comes. As a Casual Trainer, you will work in various locations, including our training venues, customer premises, and occasionally at weekends or in the evening. You will be required to travel to other areas when necessary and have the necessary equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess First Aid and Health & Safety training courses
  • Work with a variety of customers, including workplaces and community groups
  • Travel to different locations, including customer premises and training venues
  • Occasionally work at weekends or in the evening
