About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Trainer to join our team at St John Ambulance. As a Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering and assessing a variety of First Aid and Health & Safety training courses to our workplace and community training customers.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Assessing and Training Qualification (e.g. CiLD) and experience in training First Aid. However, we are also interested in hearing from NEBOSH qualified individuals who can deliver safety courses on a casual basis.
Our courses are designed to be interactive, enjoyable, and practical, with a focus on giving delegates the skills and confidence to make a difference when the time comes. We are an organisation that truly believes in living our values of humanity, excellence, accountability, responsiveness, and teamwork.
As a Trainer, you will work in various locations, including our training venues and customer premises, and may be required to travel to other areas. You will be part of a cohesive team supported by expert advice and guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and assess First Aid and Health & Safety training courses
- Work with customers to understand their training needs and develop tailored courses
- Contribute to the development of new training materials and courses
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
